Hilarity Bites Comedy Evening
Hilarity Bites Comedy Club Evening
Date: Friday 28th November 2025
Time: 8pm
Location: The Milton Rooms, Market Place, Malton, YO17 7LX
Tickets: £10pp
Event Overview
This month’s Hilarity Bites brings:
Kevin Daniel has established himself as one of the hottest newer acts on the comedy circuit. Working with established comedy promoters across the UK, his commanding stage presence, relatable exquisite storytelling and jokes a plenty always leave audiences wanting more. In his short comedy career, Kevin has performed at many comedy clubs including Blackpool Comedy Station, The Stand, Glee Club, Just the Tonic, Hilarity Bites, Comedy Hotspots, Funhouse Comedy, Big Deal Comedy and The Hull Comedy Lounge. Kevin has also supported Fiona Allen, Nathan Caton and Jack Gleadow on their UK tours.
Paul Tonkinson is a sensational live performer, Yorkshireman, marathon runner and former (double award winning) Time Out Comedian of the Year. He has long upheld his esteemed reputation as one of the finest stand-ups the UK has to offer. With a unique and distinctive style, Tonkinson is noted for his effervescent physicality and skilful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections of love, family and the day-to-]day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent.
Stephanie Laing is goofy and peculiar. Her comedy is partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable. A regular on the circuit, Stephanie has also become a stalwart of comedy festivals across the country having appeared at Brighton Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival, York Comedy Festival, Bath Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival as well as appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2010.
Doors and bar open 7pm.
The show may contain strong language and adult themes and is not suitable for under-16s.

How can we embrace the cold seasons of change?
Where do we find warmth and fun when the world feels frozen?
Join Roderick Williams, Ethan Loch and an all-age cast for the world premiere of a new co-created Community Song Cycle, inspired by Katherine May’s book Wintering. Through soaring melodies and shared voices, we explore resilience, rest and the quiet transformations that prepare us for renewal. Malton Museum: Brewing Tour
Date: Saturday 22nd November 2025
Time: 11.30am-1pm
Where: Meet at the Malton Museum, 36 Yorkersgate, Malton, YO17 7AB.
Malton Museum offers an interesting variety of public guided walking tours around the town’s historic centre.
A guided walking tour that celebrates one of Malton's important industries. In the 19th century there were seven commercial breweries in Malton and before that almost every pub had had its own brewhouse. We will talk about the process of brewing, visit the sites of some of the breweries and then look at a number of the numerous pubs that 'lubricated' our town. Timing allowing the tour may well finish in the Brass Castle, Malton's own micro-brewery. Please note that drinks are not included in the price of the tour!
The tour takes about 90 minutes. We use audio headsets to ensure everyone can hear the guides when the town is busy. The maximum size of a group is 20.
Cost £10.00 per person, includes an information pack.
Visit www.maltonmuseum.co.uk for more information.
