Date: Friday 9th October 2026
Join us in the Milton Rooms for a Regency Country Ball with live music from Ebor Quartet and dance calling from historic dance expert Lottie Adcock!
Less formal than its city counterpart, a Regency country ball gave people the chance to come together to dance, socialise and meet new people. We’re recreating the country ball experience and invite you to take part – put on your finest frock (Georgian costume encouraged but not essential!) and your dancing shoes for a night of social dancing.
You needn’t be a dance expert as Lottie will lead you through all the steps, and singles as well as couples are welcome to take part. With lively dances and professional musicians, this promises to be a delightful evening of dance suitable for all levels.
