Made In Malton

Malton has become known for what it makes — with food at the heart of that story so far.

Made in Malton is Malton’s new, inclusive ‘place’ initiative. It brings together and celebrates what the town creates across all sectors: education and training, independents, makers and creatives, heritage, racing, and local businesses of every kind.

The purpose is clear: to build civic pride, make Malton easier to discover, grow year-round footfall, increase dwell time and spend, and strengthen the town’s long-term prosperity. This is a serious, long-term commitment — and we’ll back it with visible progress and regular updates, so confidence is earned, not assumed.
