Lantern Procession and Carol Service at Ampleforth Abbey
Join us this December as we light up the darkness with a joyful lantern procession from Alban Roe House to the Abbey Church, followed by a short carol service full of warmth and festive cheer.
Lanterns can be made at one of our lantern-making workshops on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, or visit our website to download instructions to create your own lantern at home.
Free to participate with donations welcome. No booking required.

Celtic Carols by Candlelight at Ampleforth Abbey
An evening of traditional Christian music drawn from Celtic corners of the British isles, including hymns, chants, carols and seasonal folk songs, performed by multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and storyteller Olivia Graham.
