Coinciding with Malton Regency Weekend, join Malton Museum’s knowledgeable tour guides as they explore eighteenth century Malton and how it developed into a prospering market town.
The tour will consider the earlier layout of medieval Malton and trace the changes into a thriving Georgian market town.
Another point of discussion will be the people who made Malton grow into the town we know today, including statesmen, racehorse trainers, and artists, whose talents have contributed to the record of the town’s rich history.
The tour will commence outside Malton Museum at 11 am on Saturday 10th October and will be approximately 90 minutes long.
Tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased on the Malton Museum online booking page: https://www.maltonmuseum.co.uk/online-booking/
