HUNT FOR GIANT EGGS THIS EASTER – AND DISCOVER A WORLD OF WONDER AND PLAY

Families looking for Spring fun should put award-winning Woldies top of their family days out list. Tucked away from the crowds, Woldies in Wintringham, near Malton, is waiting to be conquered by curious children. A tranquil alternative to busy tourist attractions, the family-run business offers magical gardens where children can absorb themselves in nature through fascinating trails and outdoor play.

Day tickets can be purchased with a saving online; £12 for adults, £11 for children, free admission for under 1s and essential carers. Membership passes are available. Open daily from 28th March to 12 April, from 10-4pm, then weekends and school holidays until September.

Easter Fun For Everyone!

Woldies wildlife-inspired Giant Animal Easter Egg Hunt is great for primary-aged children and encourages kids to really observe the natural world around them. Kids can follow the trail then crack the code to enter a life-sized bird’s nest – and win an Easter treat!

Under 5s can take part in the toddler-friendly Mini Bunny Hunt. There are 10 bunnies to spot on the short nature trail, to encourage early learning through counting and colour recognition.

As well as soaking up Spring sun and having some Easter fun, children will love getting up close to a whole host of pretty spring flowers on the daffodil and spring blooms walk, which makes an idyllic backdrop for photos.

Families find out more about trees, bees, birds, mini beasts and woodland habitats through heaps of kids’ activities and games designed to spark curiosity about nature. Plus, there is plenty of space to let them run wild.

Don’t just take our word for it. Woldies is recognised as 𝗩𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 and was placed fourth in the National Awards. Currently shortlisted as finalists by Visit York Tourism Awards, which recognises small visitor attractions providing truly memorable experiences and demonstrating excellence across every aspect of the business. We’re excited for the winner’s announcement on 12 March!
