When my children were young, we lived on a dairy farm, but I always rather liked sheep. One day I bought a drop a drop spindle and a Jacob fleece to have a go at spinning. Self- taught, the results were fairly good and I was hooked on the idea of producing yarn.

Next development was a spinning wheel and a Jacob sheep, no turning back! I now have 40 Jacob and a Jacob cross all growing beautiful wool for me,

All my garments are hand knitted and it is great to know that I am keeping an old tradition alive in these days of mass production and synthetics .I feel sure you will enjoy hearing about my unusual lifestyle and seeing the results of my labours.
