Charles Dickens’ Malton Town Tour
Charles Dickens visited Malton a number of times in the 1840s, visiting his personal friends and relatives. Against a period of great change locally, Dickens drew inspiration for the characters, places and scenarios featured in his novels.
This entertaining guided walk will share the people and places that inspired Dicken’s writing.
