New for 2025! Malton Museum is going to have its first “Beer and Brewing in Malton” town tour.
A guided walking tour that celebrates one of Malton's important industries. In the 19th century there were seven commercial breweries in Malton and before that almost every pub had had its own brewhouse. We will talk about the process of brewing, visit the sites of some of the breweries and then look at a number of the numerous pubs that 'lubricated' our town. Timing allowing the tour may well finish in the Brass Castle, Malton's own micro-brewery. Please note that drinks are not included in the price of the tour!
Meet outside the Milton Rooms at 11:00. Advance tickets £10 which can be booked via the website.
