From the very first year, the food capital’s most important ingredient was… our brilliant volunteers!
Without our volunteers we simply couldn’t run our festivals and other events.
They host events, doing all those things people do when hosting a party: being welcoming, helping people who look lost, keeping an eye on things and generally ensuring everything goes with a swing.
Whether selling tickets, preparing ingredients or manning festival entrances – a volunteer is first and foremost a host and an ambassador for Malton. Some of our volunteers have been with us for years, but we always have room for more!
