Leading up to Malton’s Market Place you’ll find a welcoming and charming collection of shops that is Saville Street. Malton has some fine buildings all across town but Saville Street has more than its fair share. One which stands out is the charming brick building that is home to The Patisserie. Expect a warm welcome, great coffees and masses of sweet treats at this cafe, deli and shop. Northern Ride opposite is a bicycle specialist and has the most spectacular road and mountain bikes not to mention all the essential accessories. It also has it’s own bike service centre too!

There’s quite a few clothes shops and fashion boutiques on Saville Street too with Susie Marrocco, a ladies fashion store and the preloved designer clothes

store The Frock Exchange is also worth a visit as well, Harrison & Hargreaves is just the ticket for all home improvements with wallpapers, fabric & curtains plus more besides, it is the perfect way to spend a little TLC on your home. Just along from here, you’ll also find Kingfisher Cafe, a café which does more than serve delicious coffee and homemade food – they’re a social enterprise existing to provide opportunities and support for people with learning and other disabilities, run by Camphill Village Trust .On nearby St. Michael’s Street Scoops the Ingredients Shop is a specialist cook’s shop with a huge variety of ingredients, dry store goods, sauces, and much more. With ingredients from cuisines across

the world, Scoops is a true marvel. There’s also the No. 4 Antiques shop with a great range of furnishings and of course there is the jewel in the crown, Tallboy Interiors which, with it’s giant antiques showroom, is unmissable.

New to Saville Street is local business, Derventio Wines. The independent wine retailer can be found at their new pop up shop selling a variety of wines from around the world.
