Create Your Own Aromatherapy Essential Oil Blends Workshops

Join us in Malton for this new workshop wherein we will learn how to use natural essential essential oils to create beautiful, therapeutic blends and some lovely home and body fragrances to take home with you. We will be working throughout the workshop with natural essential oils, which have been created from distilled fruit, seeds, flowers and plants; no synthetic limonoids, fragrance oils or parfums here!
You will work as part of a small group, with qualified chemist Clara, to create three of your own, unique essential oil home fragrance blends to take home and use in diffusers, oil burners or candles. We will also help you select a blend with which to make a 100ml massage oil and a 10ml pulse point oil, to take home for your personal use or to give as a gift.
During this two hour workshop, we will cover
The principles of perfume and smell
The therapeutic properties of essential oils
Exploration of the top three essential oil blending techniques
Blending tips and technoques
Safety considerations and an overview of natural allergens
Create three of your own unique essential oil home fragrance blends to take home
Making your own 100ml fragranced massage oil and a 10ml aromatherapy pulse point oil to take home

This morning session will start at 10.30 a.m. and finish around 12.30 (depending on how quickly we work - we do not like to rush, it's meant to be relaxing!)
