Pizzeria

Well established pizzeria on Yorkersagte, Florios is a bit of an institution in Maton. Super authentic Italian Pizzas and other Italian specialites.

Butcher

Popular Talbot Yard butcher who makes everything on-site. As well as a good meat counter, there's home-made chorizo, sausages, fishcakes and dry-aged Hereford beef.

Gelateria

Italian gelato expertise and local Yorkshire cream. You can't visit Malton without a visit to Groovy Moo. One of Malton's most famous and popular outlets, with take-home packs available too!

The Hidden Monkey is a traditional cafe set in the centre of Malton's Market Place. All-day breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are available with a great view of the town.

Charming Wheelgate-based coffee house and cafe, Leoni offers superb coffee, sandwiches, snacks and light lunches. Owner Simon Robertson has won 'UK Barista of the Year' 3 times.

A specialist spirits emporium run by the charming and larger-than-life Jim McMillan. Gin, whisky and a good selection of beer and wine abound at this Market Street boutique.

Craft Nano Brewery

One of the UK's smallest commercial nano breweries, Malton Brewery is brewing artisan beer in a recently restored unit in Navigation Wharf, by the banks of the River Derwent, something which began in 1767 but stopped over 50 years ago. 

A temple to Yorkshire gastronomy, Malton Cookery School offers a range of exciting courses for cooks of all abilities. Try the seafood masterclass, macaroon making and more.

Popular deli and cafe on Malton's Market Place with a wide selection of dry goods, cured meats, cheese, baked goods, wine and beer. They also offer sandwiches, coffees, and lunch. Look for the daily special! 

Hotel

Newly-opened in September 2017, the recently-refurbished Mount Hotel offers rooms and a restaurant in a wonderful building on the approach to Malton. Definitely worth a visit!

A well-established and popular dining pub with a great varied menu. The charming and well-situated New Malton is set on Malton's Market Place and offers real ales and a great wine list.
