Harvest Food Festival returns to Malton for a bumper weekend this year!
Malton's Harvest Food Festival returns to the town on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019.
On 7th and 8th September, Yorkshire’s Food Capital will showcase the best of the season’s produce as food lovers come together to celebrate some of the finest food and drink in the region.
The free Festival will see Malton’s streets come alive with the sounds of local buskers and a full line up of events for all ages to enjoy, including cooking demonstrations from some of the region’s most renowned chefs in the Malton Cookery School, 80 producer stalls, street food vendors and entertainment including a birds of prey display from Animal House Birds of Prey.
Demonstrations will be hosted by local chefs Apple Charlotte from the White Skye Farm, Paul Nicholson from Butchery Know How, Adam Jackson from The Park, Marmadukes, Matthew Leivers from Star Inn Restaurants and many more, staggered across the weekend.
Delicious treats can be enjoyed rain or shine, with an all-weather pop-up picnic area in the centre of the incredible atmosphere. This year will also see a brand-new feature, ‘The Veg Out Patch’, a meat free area for vegan and vegetarian specialists, in association with Brass Castle Brewery, open from 10am until close. The local brewery will be serving drinks from their Brass Castle Bar with an Oktoberfest style.
The Festival will be open to visitors with market stalls from 9am - 4pm over the weekend and the street food court will be staying open until 9pm on Saturday as well.
With free entry to the event, the Harvest Food Festival has the best of Autumn’s bounty to feast upon!
